Burudika Tented Lodge, all free standing Bandas (Swahili for bungalow) evoke the feeling of Tanzania. Currently we have 4 double, 1 twin and 1 family. Built from walls decorated with volcanic stone and topped with coconut thatched roofs, all Bandas reveal a genuine Tanzanian atmosphere.
The use of canvas windows with secure mosquito netting, not only allows for constant air-flow, but also intensifies the safari experience. Each Banda consists of a spacious bedroom with Tanzanian styled wooden beds interwoven with sisal ropes; mosquito nets and working desk. The en-suite bathrooms entail a hand basin, separated shower and separated toilet. Towels, slippers, toiletries and morning cloth are provided. From the reclining chairs on your private sheltered veranda you’re overlooking Lake Manyara and the majestic Great Rift Valley escarpment. Read more…
